Birchmeier Pumping Troubles? Try the Check Valve

The check valve on a Birchmeier backpack is a small but important piece of equipment. If you ever have trouble pumping your Birchmeier backpack, it could be the check valve. This small white spring assembly that is under the pump cylinder. It can get dirty or clogged with debris causing it to not work properly.

This is a part that companies should keep in stock because it can and should be replaced frequently. Especially on heavily used sprayers.

Andrew Greess: One of the parts that frequently needs to be replaced is the check valve. If you’re having trouble pumping up your backpack, it could be that the check valve is bad, or has debris in it. The check valve is this white spring assembly under the pump cylinder. You use a small screwdriver, and just pry it out of there.

If that gets full of debris, it will not work properly. Or if it just wears out. That’s a part that you want to keep on hand. We recommend you keep one on hand so that if you need it, you’ve got it.Please visit us at qspray.com for all your Birchmeier backpack parts and accessories. Thanks for watching.
